Just a polite heads Up...

Medicare Part D

Many of you are on a $0 premium to you plan such as Wellcare. Your plan may now have a premium due in 2027,

so be sure to pay any new premiums if applicable. Others may see substantial premium increases or plan changes.

In addition, due to the end of certain Biden era subsidy payments to the insurance companies, the drugs covered by your current plan may be changing as well.

IMPORTANT!! - Your Part D plan sent you an ANOC (Annual Notice of Change) letter/email required to be delivered before Oct 1 showing you any changes in your premium and/or coverage. Be sure to review it and act accordingly.

If by chance “the dog ate it”, please log into your Medicare.gov account, your current Part D plan member account or Call 1 800 Medicare or your current Part D plan Member Services for assistance.

Regardless, I highly suggest logging into your Medicare.gov account or simply going to Medicare.gov to shop your plan every Open Enrollment to be sure you have the right Part D coverage and premium for you in 2027.

Medicare.gov will start showing the new 2027 Part D plans on Oct 1 through Oct 14 for “window shopping”. You may actually change and enroll in a new plan during the Open Enrollment Period of Oct 15 through Dec 07 for coverage to start Jan 1.
